Controller/Financial Analyst

We are creating a new position reporting directly to the President. The position & requirements are as follows:
Job Responsibility:
This is a strategic level position with tactical know-how required. This position requires a high level of interaction
with other leadership Directors. This position operates with minimal supervision and has authority to make business
decisions that impact the team's day-to-day operations. The Controller will be responsible for: · Accurate and
timely financial reporting, consolidation of financial reporting (A/R, A/P, G/L, Project costing, Expense reporting and
overhead), the preparation of company income tax returns (in conjunction with (RCGT), maintaining an effective internal
control environment and structure, P&L revenue and expense analysis, Taking ownership of the preparation of monthly
and quarterly corporate statements, Balance Sheet account analysis and reconciliation, oversight of day-to-day banking
functions, preparation and remittance of sales taxes, assisting in the preparation of cash flows and budgets with our
NAV/ERP system. Ensuring effective strategies and optimizing cash management controls and on various analyses and
projects as required. Also, investigating and exploring different government assistance will be critical in this role.
Job Requirements:
- CGA, CMA, CPA designation with 5-7 years experience in management (particularly in a Professional Services environment).
- Seasoned manager with excellent communication skills, Goal oriented with a high level of commitment, integrity and
results orientation.
- An excellent analytical skill, ability to resolve issues, work together as a team assisting other managers on budget
and monthly statements and has the willingness to review and understand details.
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively with tight deadlines within a fast paced team environment. Ability
to work well with Management, Good inter-personal skills and ability to build a team environment.
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, NAV/ERP system.
- Fluent in French and English.
